Vicki and Jonathan’s Wedding
Friday, March 11th, 2016
We can’t wait to share this beautiful and elegant Spring Wedding with you today. Our bride Vicki and her groom Jonathan married on a wonderfully bright Saturday last May. Vicki opted for a classic understated look in both her bridal style and her wedding theme, wearing a timeless Caroline Castigliano gown with a touch of glamour through her sparking accessories and simple gold accents. The sunshine smiled down on their very special day which was filled with relaxed romance and lot’s of loveliness.
I opted for a traditional A-line dress with a lace bodice and a floaty silk organza skirt. I felt this silhouette complimented my figure well and I felt comfortable all day in it with the lightweight skirt. I wanted to feel glamorous and elegant on the day and felt that my dr ess suited the style of our wedding with our church ceremony and reception at Rudding Park. I loved wearing a veil, it really made me feel like the bride!
I recommend trying on various different styles of dress. It’s great fun and helped me narrow down my search. I would say that you want to look like ‘you’ on the big day, so it’s best to pick a dress that you are comfortable in and suits your personality and style. You want to look and feel happy and enjoy the day, that’s the main thing!
I was thrilled and relieved because I was looking round for a few months! I knew it was ‘the one’ because I couldn’t find fault with anything on the dress. I felt beautiful in it and never questioned whether I had made the right choice. Once you have chosen your dress, it means you can start planning the rest of the day because a lot of decisions hinge on your wedding dress style, such as flowers, bridesmaids and colour schemes.
The Bridal Collection is a beautiful boutique to choose your wedding dress from. Trying on the dresses in the boutique makes you feel very special and is a wonderful and relaxed experience. Arnya and Hayley couldn’t have done more for me in the run up to the wedding. They helped me pick the perfect accessories and made sure the dress fit me perfectly. Thank you to them for making the whole experience so enjoyable for me, my parents and bridesmaids!
The day itself was magical from beginning to end. It truly was the best day of mine and my husband’s lives! My most memorable part is definitely the ceremony. I cherish my memory of walking down the aisle, seeing all my family and friends and then seeing Jonathan for the first time that day. It was a very special moment that I will never forget. I wish I could do the whole day again and enjoy every moment!
