Greenery – The Pantone Colour of 2017
Tuesday, January 17th, 2017
At the end of last year the Pantone the institute of colour revealed their 2017 colour of the year; Greenery. The leafy green tone which symbolises fresh starts and new beginnings is quickly becoming a colour trend forecast in many industries including Fashion, Design, Art and Weddings. We couldn’t be more exited by this natural and fresh colour scheme and we think it will be a bold and simplistic choice of colour schemes for those planing their big day.
We have collated some of our favourites ideas on how you can create a beautiful greenery inspired wedding.
Mixing natural lush greens and white flowers such a peonies or roses gives a textured and tonal bouquet style. A favourite of ours is this full evergreen bouquet (bottom left).
I have to admit when it comes to 2016 wedding trends the floral hanging chandelier was among my top 3! Moving forward into 2017 I love the idea of using only greenery to create an ethereal vibe at your wedding. Rosemary is also great way to add that extra splash of organic.
We love the idea of keeping things minimal when it comes to the cake. Decorate your cake with organic leaves and olive branches for a crisp clean look.
It’s safe to say we are definitely backing the latest colour trend follow our Stylish Simplicity board over on Instagram to heaps of Inspiration to help you plan your greenery inspired day.
